I’ve been drowning for the past few days in embellishments….can someone please throw me a rescue line? No, seriously…it’s been a living nightmare!
Every time I open a drawer or a container, I find some loose item that has not found a permanent home.

The organizational goal for this past week was to sort and store a container a day for 4 of the 7 days. On day 1, I spent 2 hours just sorting 3 drawers from my Recollections cube! I managed to separate flowers and rhinestones into color families and placed them back in the 3 drawers for now. However, I realized that I have a LOT more than just flowers and rhinestones. They just keep multiplying!
I did file the majority of my stickers and die cuts in the Scrap Rack in the Themes and Calendar area, but I still have a ways to go. This challenge provides 8 topic areas to address. Regrettably, I do not feel I will fully complete any one topic area within the designated week. I will, however, have the tools to move forward to eventually get this studio in tip-top shape!
What’s Next?
I shall continue to sort paper, embellishments and anything I come across that has a designated home. As I prepare for this week’s challenge of Tools of all Types, I am slightly overwhelmed. I have a LOT of dies, stamps and punches to go through. … Just keep sorting…just keep sorting…
