Get Organized Challenge 3: Organizing your Photos
I’m a scrapbooker! I promise! I keep telling myself this over and over as my love of capturing and sharing memories is why I started crafting in the first place.
But let me be honest here…. I have not scrapbooked since 2009! Well, at least not for my youngest child. Being blessed with grandchildren has inspired me to put together a few mini scrapbooks but that’s about it! Do I feel guilty? YES!

Focus of the Week
This week’s assignment is to sort 2 boxes/piles of physical pictures and 1 year of digital pictures.
How Did I Do?
Since this is NOT my first challenge, photos are the one area where I take the labeling very seriously from the moment they are uploaded into digital folders. I managed to sort and label physical photos from 2011 through 2018! WOO HOO!! It was not difficult as I had used Snapfish to order prints every quarter so everything was close to date order.
Eventually, I need to go through and select those prints that I wish to scrap and group them by event. I’m not quite ready to get back to scrapbooking yet so I’ll get back to that part of the task once this room becomes more usable.
What’s Next?
- I shall continue to sort pictures as I come across them into online files and in date order.
- I found 2 cameras with additional pictures that need to be transferred and moved into files and printed.
- I shall continue sorting paper and loading into my Scrap Rack.
- Thankfully, I have Scrap Rack supplies ordered so I will be able to be more productive once my order arrives. Wish me luck!!
